Hello, after I’ve installed some new modules without error messages they are not available to put on any site (DNN 6.1.1). All the modules install without error message BUT they just don't show up in the "Modules" menu at the top (After Host before Pages)

I just had a look at another DNN 6.1.1 install - Host > Extensions > Edit (any module) > "Assigned Premium Modules" - There are a few Portals (different domains installed)

- Old Modules: Assigned => All Portal Names are in the list
- New Modules: Assigned => Only one Portal name is in the list

I would expect that the other portals show under "UnAssigned" and I Assign them but there is nothing.... Any idea how I can access the new installed modules?

You can assign the modules to portals.

Also, make sure that either the modules are assigned to a category that you use, or that you select all categories from the dropdown on the Modules menu.

Hello Joseph, yes I have checked this option. Just below this dropdown there is a text field "Assigned Premium Modules"
I another DNN installation I see all the different portals (domains) - this is not the case in this particular installation.

The question is: Why does DNN not show all available portals on the system? I am working as the host account...

Any ideas?

Hello Craig, thank you for the help - I've solved the original problem - all installed modules show now in the in "Modules Menu" and can be added to pages.

I have changed the language settings for all sub-portals (domains) in the tables Portal, Portallanguages and PortalLocalization from en-GB to en-US.

If this additional language provides such a problem - how do I get rid of en-GB? Why is this still a problem after so many years?!...
Change all the "en-gb" values in table: PortalSettings?
