I cannot see any controls of the fck editor. I can move the mouse over various areas of the editor, and it tells me what is there, but cannot see anything. It is this way for the entire site. It was working and then it just stopped.

Is this still a problem?

Which version of DotNetNuke are you using? Did this happen after an upgrade, or out of the blue?

also, what browser, and did you accidentally turn on your compatibility button in IE?

If this was an upgrade to DotNetNuke 6.x, you should switch the editor to one of the Telerik RadEditor choices. There is a new HTML Editor Manager entry in the Host menu that can be used for this. If the RadEditor is not installed, you may have to do that first.

i have upgraded the site just now from 4.9 to 6.1.3

every is working fine but when i add any pane on the pane say the first one and when i am hover upon this editor control pop up got opened but when i click on edit option or on setting option it wouldn't work fine but delete and refresh is working

second issue is when i add another pane on the same manage button on hover does not showing anything

can anybuddy suggest me where i am worng

I'd recommend that you go to Host, HTML Editor Manager and select the DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider. It is my understanding that the FCK editor isn't reliable in DNN 6.

If you don't have the choice of selecting the RadEditor, you may need to visit the Extensions page and add it. Is should be available on the Available Extensions tab.

i have change to Rad Editor its working well but when i am uploading any image its shoeing me the message

means image manager is not working of it and one more issue in editor is that while i am editing any pane and then saving or cancelling the editor's content it is coming on the current page instead the current page comes under that editor please check the attached image

try downloading and reinstalling the FCK editor - I'd try changing reference in the web.config first (mak a backup!).

DNN 6 does not include this editor - too bad since the Telirik control is buggy and more pretty than functional - oh, and it rewrites your code when in html/source mode and saved...

Bad change in my opinion. The only good thing that came out of it are some better media management tools which could have been added to the FCK editor.

If someone has free time, that could be a good project.
