I want to change the editor of my site that's in dnn 06.00.00 (2982). I want to change the editor to FCK editor. Can anyone please let me know how to do that?

Login as Host and go to the brand new Host, HTML Editor Manager page. You can choose the default editor provider from the dropdown. You will also find options for configuring the editor.

thanks for your reply. I've gone to the Host->HTML Editor Manager section and can see only one editor i.e. DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider. I want to change it to FCK editor. How can I do that?

Go to the Host, Extensions page and look in the Providers section. Is the "DotNetNuke Fck Html Editor Provider" installed?

If it isn't, you will need to get a copy of FckHtmlEditorProvider_02.00.04_Install.resources from the Install/Provider directory on an install package. Then rename the file to FckHtmlEditorProvider_02.00.04_Install.zip and install it like any other extension. After that, you should have the provider installed.

A critical error has occurred.
Version string portion was too short or too long.

When/where does this occur? Is it related to the editor provider?

I've installed the FCK editor module and it's coming properly. But after adding content and afer clicking on the Save button the new content is not visible. Even I've changed the style of exiting font but it's not showing that.

any sugession from your end?
