Hello,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to display the date when a page was last updated.  I used this on the home page of my old FrontPage site.  Do people do this on DNN? 

I only wish to display this on my home page.  There are a few options.  One would be to have the date updated whenever any content in the site is updated.  The other would be to have the date updated when any content on the home page changes.

Here is part of the description:  "This module uses a template that you define to display the date and/or time that the current page was last updated. Out of the box, this module interfaces with the Text\HTML and Links modules to calculate the last updated time; however, it is also very extendable and allows you to add your own code and/or SQL query to interface with any module that tracks the last time it was updated. To do this is usually as easy as developing one simple method or query."

There is some other text that discusses extending the module to work with modules other than Text/HTML and Links.

After posting my question I also found that module on Snowcovered. The one drawback I see is that it may require edits to web.config to work. I decided to go with a simpler solution for now. I added a Text/HTML module to the bottom footer pane of my home page and manually typed in the "Date Last Updated." Since I am the only one who edits the site, I can edit this information on an "as needed" basis. It is not automatic, but will be good enough for now. If I want to I could copy this module to all my other pages. I am holding off doing that for now because it would be tedious (I have 30+ pages) and I am not sure the info belongs on every page.
