     Thanks for your replay,

     I have designed a skin for my Dnn site and when I apply the skin to any new page. The form action is post method is defaultly to the same page ie. action="" .

    I need to create a new skinn where In the form I need to set the <form> action="some url">

    Can it is possible. If it is so, please help me to do or please provide an alternative way to overcome this issue.

Your skin file should not include any form tags.  You should not be trying to redefine the behavior of DotNetNuke pages.

The default DotNetNuke page is already a form.  Any form tags that you add will definitely break the site.

The skin is not the right place to do that.  You might want to review these:

• An Introduction to the Principles of DotNetNuke
• Basic Introduction to Working with Pages in DotNetNuke

The right place to have actions happening is in a module.  You may need to create a custom module to place on a page.

        I am created a custom module onepagecheckout.ascx and can I declare a form there in the custom module.

       I want to do a onepage checkout for my site and I want to post my details to eprocessing network. that's why I need to change the action url.

I don't believe that you can use html forms inside of a module, for the same reason that you cannot do it in a skin.

But, in a module, you can use all of the tools available with ASP.NET and whichever language you are using to create the equivalent of a form, along with actions to happen when you click a link or a button.  These can "post" data to another page or site.

Have you considered, also, using a module such as Dynamic Forms?  This has links to eprocessing services built in.

Since you are creating modules, I'd recommend that you get a copy of the book written by Mitchel Sellers on module development.  Also, Michael Washington's adefwebserver.com site has lots of good information and tutorials.

Yes, in DotNetNuke 5.x you can change the skin for the administrative pages.  You do this just like you change the page settings for any other page.
