Restric Solpart from role

I hope I am asking this in the correct area. I need to assign users to a role that can edit the text within a page, but cannot have them be able to use the solpart menu or be able to change the layout of teh page. Can some please explain how to acomplish this please? Thanks in advance!

Yes. Give the user permission to edit the module that contains the contents, but not permission to edit the page.

The user still sees the solpart menu. Can I hide the menue from this role all together?

If you mark pages to not be visible to a certain role, those entries will not be shown. If you want the entire menu (and background) to disappear for certain roles, you can do that by editing your skin. Ask for more details.

I do not think I am explaining myself. I want a role to be able to edit the text within certain pages of my website, but i do not want the users assigned to roles to see the sol part menu or be able to rearrange the pages layout. If i am not able to restrict access to prevent them from changing the payout of the page I really need to hid the sol part menu from the role. Currently when I give this role edit rights to the module on the page they can see the sol part menu and also can change the layout on the page. Is this possible to accomplish?

Give them access to edit the module, and do not give them access to edit the page.
