How to override method in DotNetNuke control which i defined in one of the class in app_code folder.I want to override method "VerifyRenderInServerForm".Right now it gives compile time error "no suitable method found to override".And we can not use muliple inheritance in .net.so how i can do that?Is there any other way to export "gridview data to pdf file" from control in dotnetnuke? |

hello sir.thanks for previous reply.
we are using aspx control on page which is dynamically created in DNN.on our control there is a design which is in html table.we want to give image to the table background.for this we have given table id for html table.
and in code behind file, we written
test. Style. Add ("background-image","url('Images/os3_main.gif')");
it is working fine in other project.but in DNN it is not displaying the image.Is DNN supports html table??and how we can do this?< table id="test" runat="server" > < / table > |

The background image might be overwritten by styles in skin.css.
If you are doing this in a module, you might want to try adding the background using styles in module.css.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for all the replies, which helps me a lot to perform well.
I would like to know that how could i use div tag in the web conrols(DNN). I have done a simple coding for tab box in DNN for that i have to use div and classes but in this case that was not working properly.I have created a css which should be used in the div tag along with the class specified.
One more problem is that i wish to include marquee up direction using the Datalist.the data should come from the database server along with links in it like a news scroller. please suggest me a possible solution.
So i need a probable solution for that. |

i want to disable the control panel to general user.i am developing the shopping cart site so control panel is disable to buyer.when admin login into the site then control panel should enable.i.e. there is no control panel option for home page of shopping cart site.i am using DNN 4.09.02.
so,please help me, how to disable the control panel ?So normal user have no any access to control panel. |

hello,
If you place your images in an img folder in the same folder as your skin, you can use this code if you are adding it directly in the skin html / ascx file:
(spaces added so it displays in the forum)
< img src="<% =SkinPath %>img/mylogo.jpg" width="330" height="60" alt="My Website Name" / >
Or you could use classes and call up the class in your skin.CSS file, again the image is placed inside an img folder inside your skin files (this is the method I use):
In the skin.htm / ascx file
< div class="mybackground" > content < /div >
In the skin.css file
.mybackground {
background: #ffae00 url(img/menu_gradient_10_32.jpg) repeat;
}

we have unzipped "DotNetNuke_Community_04.09.02_Install.zip" file onto the web server...then i tried to run "installwizard.aspx" for configuring database.but it gives error "Directory listing Denied". this virtual directory does not allow contents to be listed.
what is the reason behind that..?please help me out |

The site given by you is under construction n thr is no. 888.523.2360 on which we have to call.Is it a number from canada?Can we register to DNN4Less without calling them?
we require 32mb space on server to test our site....how we can proceed now to test our shopping cart portal.... |
