My registration page does not show categories as section  le like in your videos. I run DNN 5.5.1. All properties are in the same area. Is there a way to show all the properties in it's category like in your tutorial ?

Another problem is the skin of the form. Labels or values are restricted to 150px. Inspecting with FF shows that the label is in a div with a hard coded style width of 150px (not enough for me). I would prefer to center the form in the module too. Is it possible to change that ?

In the newer versions of DotNetNuke, the Profile Properties aren't displayed with Categories. The tutorial that you viewed was using an older version.

It looks like the profile names are limited to 50 characters (in the database). The display names may be longer. It does look like the width of that column is hard coded. I'm not sure how much trouble you would cause yourself if you tried modifying it. If you do, make it a separate module sot that your DotNetNuke installation can be upgraded. Or, there are third-party alternatives such as Dynamic Registration from Data Springs.

Strange that categories are no longer displayed. This added to the poor skin flexibility of this form contrasts with the general DNN skinning pratice. I'm sure I'm not demanding too much but if this could be templated a little bit this would be a great thing. Personnaly I've been looking at Dynamic Regitration Dataspring module and others but too much stuff I don't need exept layout options. Moreover Dynamic Regitration / Login don't have the option to complete registration at next login time which is an interesting option when adding required properties as time goes by or in case of partial registration (through web services in my case).

I had a look at the structure of login / registration in DNN and I'll probably try to do my own registration/update form and place it in Profile.ascx file (replacing dnnrofileEditorControl). I would like to follow you advise and create a separate module but how could I do if I want to modify Login.ascx (for same skinning reason) and Profile.ascx files that seem to be in different modules ?
