Hello,
I am running Dot Net Nuke version 5.5.1 and I noticed that in the
Articles Settings there is a "Twitter Settings" section within the Admin
Options screen. This section has "Twitter Name" "Bit.LY Login" and
"Bit.Ly API Key".
I would like to make use of the Twitter function and so I went on
ahead and created a Twitter account and added the name @TwitterName to
the "Twitter Name" field but nothing display when I made changes to the
article.
The only problem is that these articles are not setup as RSS Feeds but
just pieces of content (plain text) , and it seems that most things that
go in to Twitter oare RSS feeds. Is there any other option to display the article content (plain text)
to twitter from the platform without having an RSS Feed created?
I just really want to either place the le of the article that is
added or then notify the twitter account when changes are made. But I am
starting to think that this will have to be some kind of variation of
an RSS Feed. I have attached a screenshot of a mock up article that I would like to display to twitter or at least the notifications when it changes.
Thank you,
Paulo
