I'm new to DNN and I see that there a lot of modules available in the e-commerce area, so hopefully there's on that will work. Basically, the workflow should be that once items are in a shopping cart, the user can click "request a quote" which will ask them to fill out a form, then email the website administrator with that information and send the user to a confirmation screen. There is no way to actually order products online - the cart is there to collect product info for the quote request. That workflow doesn't appear possible within the core store module, which asks for shipping and billing info, gives an order total, etc. Any suggestions for a module that could be configured to accomodate this? That's unfortunate. I was hoping that this kind of functionality would be common enough to exist within some pre-made modules. I suppose the next course of action would be to create a normal request form, somehow disable the checkout functionality in the account module of the store, and then put a link on that page to go to the request form and try to access the shopping cart data there. Now I just have to find out how to manipulate the module on that level, figure out where the basket data resides (session, SQL, etc.), and how to maybe put it into a hidden field on the quote request page or something.
