I have a User registration Module and it works fine.

is it possible to do user will be automatically logged in after successful registration and redirect to another page according to security role?

could you please give me an idea how to do it.

My dnn ver is 5 and my existing module is in c#

If you want to have the user logged in immediately, you'll need to change the registration mode to one that doesn't require verification or approval.

You can specify a "redirect after login" page. You can use permissions of modules on that page to present different content based on the user's security roles. If you really want to use separate pages, Data Springs' Dynamic Login module may be for you.

actually i have to use my own user registration module because, i have some customize option and field in the registration Module.

so i am trying to do my self and i try to use

public void AutoLogin(long _portalID, string _username, string _password, string _IPAddress) {
UserLoginStatus loginStatus = default(UserLoginStatus);
UserInfo objUser = UserController.ValidateUser(_portalID, _username, _password, "", PortalSettings.PortalName, _IPAddress, loginStatus);

UserController.UserLogin(_portalID, objUser, PortalSettings.PortalName, _IPAddress, true);
}

but no luck.

i have got the solution

i use bellow function and auto login done

public void AutoLogin(int _portalID, string _username, string _password, string _IPAddress, int user_ID)
{

UserInfo objUser = UserController.GetUserById(_portalID, user_ID);

UserController.UserLogin(Convert.ToInt32(_portalID), objUser, PortalSettings.PortalName, _IPAddress, true);
}
