Hi, I am new to DNN. I was able to install 4.09.03 on Win 2008. I have a problem with the event module. The setting to adjust calendar cell height seems to be missing. I saw bunch of tutorials and they are all point to events settings. I am missing that part. I have Event List Setting, but that doesn't have a place to adjust he height.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Lee Sykes

The Events module uses templates, and you can create your own templates to style the events module.
Go to your DotNetNuke installation files / DesktopModules / events / themes and copy one of the folders - I copied the grey folder - rename this folder and you will edit this to create your own events module template.
open the folder you have just copied, open the grey.CSS file (you can rename this to match the name of your template)
Edit the .Event code:
.Event
{
table-layout: auto;
font-size: 7pt;
color: white;
font-family: Verdana;
height: 300px;
width: 75%;
text-align: center;
border-right: #e5dfdf 1px solid;
border-bottom: #e5dfdf 1px solid;
border-left: #e5dfdf 1px solid;
border-top: #e5dfdf 1px solid;
background-color: #EFE7E7;
white-space:normal;
line-height:1.3em;
}
If you adjust the height value, for instance to 300px, this will reduce the height of each of the cells.
Save the changes.
Login to your DotNetNuke portal, go to the events module, go to the modules settings menu and select settings.
Expand the events module settings
in general settings / theme/skin - select the new template name that you have created
Scroll down and click on update
Hope this helps, thanks,

Hi Lee How do I access the Events folder/files then? Do I need FTP or could I access the files via the File Manager in the DNN Admin or Hosting page? tnx Jam

The Events module's files are located in the Desktop Modules/Events folder in the installation's directory. You can get at them via FTP, remote desktop, or whatever method your host provides. Sometimes, there are "control panels" that include a "file manager." If possible, I prefer remote desktop access. FTP is second.
You can also manipulate the files in the Event's module with an installable ZIP file. Installing it over an existing installation will update the files, should you make changes.
