I was created container for dnn website.
in that we have [ACTIONBUTTON:1] this refers module delete.
for that token i have used display link property.

can i change the default name  like Delete to close.

and it is not visible in view mode.how i enable to show this in view mode.

Every character string in the core DotNetNuke framework is "localized" for language and can be changed. You use the Language Editor for this.

In the Language Editor, look at \App_GlobalResources\GlobalResources.resx and look for the resource named DeleteModule.Action.

I would point out, though, that "Delete" and "Close" mean two different things.

The Delete item isn't visible in view mode because you don't want users deleting modules from pages. At least that's not a good idea. If you want to let some users have the ability to delete a module, you can do this with permissions on the module and security roles.

Are you sure that you aren't looking for the "Visibility" control that allows users to collapse and expand modules on the page without deleting them?

Is it possible at the time container development we are using xml file for setting.
xml file has any setting for give the link name.

I don't think it is possible to change the text from the container.xml file for the action button, to change the text you will have to change it in the language editor as Joe suggested
