Can you tell me the capacity of Documents module  to upload

i want to upload some files so that some authorised user can download that  i m using the document module  but i want to upload  really large documents is any another way to do that

or if i upload the files through FTP  and then provide the link to download then through FTP  upto what size i can upload

or any other module  for this  pls guide

There is a limit on file sizes in the web.config file. You can edit to change it. Otherwise, I don't think that there are any other limits.

a tip - For really large files I FTP and then link to from the documents module and there are no file size limits, for example I'm currently uploading a 600 MB file via FTP which will be linked to via a documents module
