How do I change the Subject line in the email notification in the Forum?

I have one group with 3 forums, eg. General, Discussion, Interests. When a new post is created, the Forum users will receive an email notification and I would like to include the forum name (eg General or Discussion or Interests) to the Subject line of the email notification.

Please help.

Go to Forum Administration, then Email Settings. Click on Manage Templates on that page.

I am using DNN version 4.0.3 and Forum 3.20.06

I don't have setting  Manage Templates in Email Settings.

Do I have to modify the .vb code? Are you able to tell me which source code it is and what the database field for this forum name is?

I don't recommend that you start fiddling with the source code or going into the database. I'd expect that the database tables have the word "Forum" in them, though.

Is there any reason that you can't upgrade your site? I'd really recommend that.
