At the advise of our host we are using dynamic registration supported by the host to register users. We have two levels, free registration and a paid subscription. Our site offers free users content that is unedited and complete. Suscribers are afforded access to custom summaries of the more detailed content.

We wanted to be able to offer a 7 day trial access to selected prospects. So, our host suggested creating a separate dynamic registration and providing the propsect with link to that page, then set up the FREE Trail security role. We did that and used the dynamic registration to define that when someone launches a registration from the FREE Trial page, they are welcomed on another landing page and when they click HOME on that page should have access as though they were an annual or monthly paid member. We do not activley use teh "subscriber" role.

However, when the link is used and the user enters their information and clicks the register button DNN responds with a dialogue box that says the tab is not available for this user. The registration places the user in the user accounts, but for some resaon is not allowing the user to get to the site. The host suggested that we tell the trial user to let us know when they register so we can go in manually and assign a role to the user that allows access. That appears to work but is a rellly unprofessional solution. 

What are we doing wrong with dynamic registration, security roles, or otherwise that is causing what appears to be a simple process to fail? We have double checked the every page and module access setting to make sure that the security roles are properly defined.  We have double checked the dynamic registration and the security role. It seems like it should work.

Any ideas or solutions? I am obviously not a "techie", so all help will be appreciated, esepcially in layman's terms.
