I have a question about using PayPal as a payment gateway for a course I want to charge for on my DNN site. I have the event set up, and when I register for the course I am prompted to go to PayPal to pay for the transaction. What I cannot figure out is how to go to the PayPal development site to test this - I have changed the processor link under Host - Lists, and even changed the URL in the EventPPEnroll.ascx.vb file, to no effect. It seems many others have charging for events working, but I cannot find how to configure PayPal as a gateway in any internet searches I have done. Any help / links would be apprediated. Thanks, Paul

Hello, I have not tried to set this up in the events module using the PayPal sandbox. - it's easy in the store module in that all you have to do is tick a box to send transactions to the sandbox. - it may be worth having a look in the developers area of PayPal and have a read to see if there are any special requirements for sending test payments to the sandbox.

Just wanted to answer my own post, now that I have it working - there are two locations to enter the PayPal info - one in the Module Settings, the other in the event you want to charge for. I have it working with the PayPal sandbox - next step is to get it working with the production site. Cheers, Paul
