Before we decide that you are screwed, let's back up and see if you can give us some insight as to what might have happened.
Which version of DotNetNuke were you using?
Where is it hosted?
Do you have either FTP access to the web directory or SQL access to the database?
I would, right away, get a backup of the database and the web directory. Then save these somewhere that they are safe.
The best way to determine how hopeless or how not hopeless your situation is would be if you have access to the database. You (or someone working with you) would be able to look into the database and see if information has been deleted, or if it is just inaccessible at the moment. If the data is still there, you aren't screwed! Actually, things might be ok.
Now ... can you itemize what you did between the time when you had a working system and now?
Is is possible to browse to your site and see anything?
Depending on what might have happened, there might be some relatively easy solutions to the "I can't login" problem.
Give us some more details, please, and maybe we can help.
Here's the website I was trying to work on. www.tigermclub.com There are some things I can still see, like the privacy statement and the terms of use, and the names of the links are still there, but none of them will take me anywhere, including the login.
Right now, I don't have any access other than the host login, I'm going to try and get all that info on Monday. The problem is I'm doing this for a client that doesn't have a lot of technical knowledge (I know it doesn't sound like I really do either right now, but believe me, I'm not usually one to do stupid things like this). I do remember that I did export something before I had my little accident, it went to a D: drive somewhere, which I'm guessing is on the server, I've never really dealt with Microsoft servers before.
Basically, what happened was the site was working, I attempted to creat another portal to use as a test, but then I decided not to and went to delete it. What I think happened was that I clicked my mouse one too many times because the server was really slow, and I clicked on the wrong box. Honestly that's the only thing I can come up with, because I can't really see myself deleting the live site on purpose. Since then I've tried to get back into the host/admin section, and I can't.
I appreciate all of your help, especially since I was in full on panic mode when I first posted this and I know much of what I said probably made no sense at all.
