Hi All,

I downloaded and viewed the tutorial on adding the Google Adsense content to a website.

I used my own skin and made the modifications in the skin.ascx file for the skin I wanted to add the Google Adsense stuff to.

The ads are being delivered into the general area where I wanted (Left Column), however, the text does not wrap.  I did add the CSS that Lee showed in his tutorial and I believe I properly placed the code.

In Firefox, the content is even with the ads, however, the content does not wrap.

In IE, the Ads are top, and then content comes below.

Would someone have a moment to take a look at the site and see maybe what I have done wrong?  I have been through the tutorial about 4 times already and would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes:

From having a quick glance at the source code it looks as though the adsense code is placed in its own table cell. - You need to place it in the same table cell as the content

Ugghh...it didn't work like I wanted it to. Let me look at how I can display this code in the forum:

could you post it using [ and ] instead of the < and > - (using find and replace ctrl+H does it very quickly ;-) )

Anyhow, I have it all in one TD cell. I first place the Paragraph class for the right justified google ads to display. Then I have a Div tag that displays my content .

Then I have a final Div tag that does the Clear Class.

Does this make sense?

The adsense code here is placed along with the bottom pane - is that the correct pane where the text is inserted that you want the adsense code to display with? - or should it be the contentpane?

Your other option is to add the code to a container, so when you use that container it will display the code floating with the content of the container

that's correct. I need the ads placed within the bottom pane. I went ahead and created a Table within the TD cell and split it up into two columns so I could display the content on the left hand side and then the ads on the right within a 100px cell, but that seems incredibly wasteful.

I do have a container with my skin that I can use, I suppose. I haven't used it at all, so I'm not too sure how to work with it. Is this what you recommend doing? Is that because this simply can't happen within the bottom pane along with the content from the bottom pane?

Using a container might be easier to implement in a table based skin - I'm not sure why its not working for you without taking the code to pieces, so I would have a look at: Incorporating Google Adsense into DotNetNuke Skins and video 3 where it shows working with adsense in containers, you should be able to download those containers and just test them in your skin to see if they work.
