I setup from module "forum" my question how to configure the new
thread or my post? i clicking the link my posts the error is

"A critical error has occurred.
ORDER BY items must appear in the select list if SELECT DISTINCT is specified. 0"

Can anyone tell me the steps which i can follow to the forum configuration?

I verified this error using the DNN Forum module (03.20.08) and DNN 4.5.3.

I get the error with "My Posts" and also if I use the forum search feature.  Both seem to rely on "threadsearch".  Because this is an error with the SQL query to the forum's data table, I assume that this is an error in the forum software, specifically the stored procedure that is used to retrieve the specified threads.

The problem has been reported on the DNN Forum (the Forum Forum!).  I'll track that and post an update if there is a reply.

To upgrade the forum to the current version: Just download the install package and install it as you would install any other module. This will replace any existing forum software with the new one.

You don't have to do anything to configure the forum for a new post. Just go into a forum that you've created and click the "New Thread" link.

Was there ever a solution to this error? I am getting the same error:
