how to renew subscreption in paypal module

hi, can any body help me ....want to do following... Paypal module for purchasing membership is integrated in our site www.sharkhandicapping.com but a problem is occured when user who is already subcribed go for renewal he/she getting a message "You already subscribed to that service, do you really want to pay twice?..." after that he/she don't have any option to move further. according to ur need we want to add the no of days left in expiration is added into new subscription and updated in database.but where I can put this logic?how the expiry date is updated in my site by www.paypal.com

Hello, You maybe better off trying out the subscription tools from www.ventrian.com - this is what we are using on DNNC it will automatically email out a reminder to the users - you can set up recurring subscriptions if you wish and they can view receipts of their purchases - it's a much more user friendly method than the built in paypal module, thanks,
