 I have a serious problem to my site i traying to edit the "web config'
 for section "large file upload" for purpose i upload the maximum file in 25mb.

 requestLengthDiskThreshold="40960" />

then i save it and uploading again in my site
 then i tray login form user,admin and host then i cannot login in my site
and then 2nd  i tray click to my register link and i tray register i cannot login

 

Any suggestions how this error might be resolved?

 

ok,   Did you create a backup of your web.config file before editing it?

Did you download the web.config file from your site and edit that web.config file?  Or did you edit the web.config file from the DotNetNuke files that you downloaded from DotNetNuke.com?

You need to edit the web.config file from the live website as the web.config file has unique machine key codes to your installation for securing passwords. - if you don't have the correct machineKey and installation date details in your web.config file you will not be able to log in to your DotNetNuke installation.

I would suggest you upload the backup of your web.config file and try again, thanks,

  i need a backup, the problem is, my backup are the original configuration
setup,i have no backup webconfig file live, the unique machine key codes and
installation date,before i install dotnetnuke.? any idea, how to recover
the unique machine key and installation date for web config live?because i tray
put the webconfig old in live and im not login as in user/admin/host
and i try look the database live and im looking for "dbo.Version" the create my
site, the problem im not looking uniquemachine key, aim not see it.

 I would like to know if this possible?

   It is possible when i install the new dotnetnuke,and the old data base are putting
the connection string in web config.? or i upload the old dotnetnuke(a) instaled in
my localhost and i put the database(live)  it is possible

    (format Dotnetnuke)

 dotnetnuke/site7-(live) (dabase (a) live) error "webconfig" im not login user/admin/host
 
 dotnetnuke/site6-(local) (databse (b) local - good condition

Hello,

I don't quite understand what you mean here.  But if you have lost your original live web.config file I do not know of any methods to recover the machineKey codes. if you try to reinstall DotNetNuke over the top of your live installation this will not work as the data in your database is linked to the machinekey codes. - You could try contacting your hosting provider to see if they have created a backup of your website and ask them to send you the web.config file
