What you want to do is: 1. Put an instance of the Login Module in the place you want that to appear. You will have to do some CSS styling to get it to look the way you want it to loo. Set the module's permissions so that it is visible only to unauthenticated users (not logged in). 2. Put an instance of the HTML module in the same place. You can use Tokens in the HTML module and insert text like this, with Logout linked to yoursite.com/logoff.aspx: Welcome, [User:FirstName] | Logout 3. Set the HTML module to be visible only to Registered Users (logged in). That should do it. You can also do the part for logged in users with DotNetNuke skin objects and some conditional code in the skin, but this is a bit easier. If you need to do this on multiple pages, set the module to appear on all pages or copy a reference to the modules to all pages.

True. You need to know the UserId to build a link to the profile page. I don't think that's available, but I'd be happy is someone could provide a solution. For those links, you'll need to use the skin object with some conditional code to show it only when the user is logged in. |

Thanks for follow up, I tried to use Userid and put it in the url to be like that: Welcome, <a href="/UserProfile/tabid/61/userId/[User:Userid]/Default.aspx">[Profile:FirstName]</a> | <a href="/logoff.aspx">Logout</a> and it worked good, but in the url i find "tabid/61" i don't know this number will change or not! So, i tried this token [Tab:Tabid] but it return different number not 61 !! if you have solution for that, or do you know the number of tabid that in profile url will change or not ? |

Oh, good for you! How did I miss that one? In any event, the name of the user profile page is Userprofile.aspx unless you changed it. So you can use:
<a href="/UserProfile.aspx?userid=[User:Userid">[Profile:FirstName]</a> | <a href="/logoff.aspx">Logout</a>

<a href="/UserProfile.aspx?userid=[User:Userid">[Profile:FirstName]</a> | <a href="/logoff.aspx">Logout</a>
, do not visualize the full name of the user logged in only visualize [Profile:FirstName]. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Go to Settings for the module and, for the HTML module settings check the box that enables the token replacement feature. |
