I have created DNN scheduled task on my website to generate a report of all users created since the last run of the task. I want to do this so that the report can be configured to generate daily, weekly, monthly or any other duration, just by changing the properties of the scheduled task in DNN.
My problem is that I am not sure how to get the "last run date" of a task from code. It is not clear if this is possible, and if it is, then which property of the ScheduleHistoryItem object should I use.

Use DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.DNNScheduling.SchedulingController.GetScheduleHistory(System.Int32)

Which version of DotNetNuke are you using?

You can use intellisense or the object browser in VS to look for the right classes, or you can download the compiled help file from the download page at DotNetNuke.com.

Although the DNNScheduler namespace is listed in the DNN help files, it is not available in my c# class library project. I cannot see it using intellisense. The object browser does not show it either. What could be wrong?

Make sure you are including the namespaces.

Which version of DotNetNuke?

I have included the namespace "DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling". If I try to include the namespace "DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.DNNScheduling", I get an error.

I just looked at a 5.6.2 install:

Public Overrides Function GetScheduleHistory(ScheduleID As Integer) As System.Collections.ArrayList
Member of DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.DNNScheduling.DNNScheduler

I have the 5.6.2 source setup on another server, and I can see the class in the source. However, if I get a dll from that install and add it to my class library, the namespace is still not available in my project.

FYI,
A reference to DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.dll was also required.
