I'm using the DNN Feedback module and when I fill out the form and click "send feedback" I get the following error message:

Your feedback could not be sent to some or all of the intended recipients, please try again later:
The message was not delivered to the following address(es) -

It doesn't list any addresses that it couldn't deliver.

In the settings, I have "send to" and "send from" filled in with e-mail addresses.

Can somebody tell me why I'm getting this error message and why my messages won't go through?

Look in the Event Log to see if there are more details.

Check to see that the email addresses are correct. Are any of the email addresses outside of the domain of the website? If so, this could indicate that the SMTP server is refusing to relay messages.

Do you get other emails from the system, such as when a new user registers?

I really do hate when you follow a trail of breadcrumbs to the one post that seems to describe your problem to a T and it ends with "Sorted it, I'm happy. Anyone else with the same issue can go jump, I'm off"

I hate it almost as much as "ima" as a contraction for "I am going to" and only because I see it less.

In this particular thread, my guess is that the SMTP server configuration didn't permit sending email outside of the local domain. That's the usual way to do things to prevent spammers from capturing the SMTP server. It's also easy to reconfigure to support the DotNetNuke installation, but also keep it safe. Often, you need to contact whoever is responsible for the SMTP server.
