Hi there. I'm running DotNetNuke 5.5.1 and I'm having a little trouble moving a page around. I used to have my site set up where all of the pages are subpages of Home, now I want to move the pages to be on the same level as home. However, I have tried to move them by editing the page and then selecting the Parent Page to "Not Specified". However, when I do this, my page does not move at all. Any ideas what's going on?

What you are doing sounds like the correct answer.

You could also try going to Admin, Pages and using the tools there to reorganize the pages.

But ... if the tools refuse to work ... are any errors generated?

If all else fails, a risky approach would be to get into the datbase's Tabs table and edit the ParentId column directly. If you end up doing that, be sure to make a backup of the database before you start.

I never noticed the "deindent" on the pages view, but that worked. And no, no error messages were generated when I was trying to move the page from the page edit view.
