Image editor not refreshing

Has anyone else noticed that if you upload an image via ftp it doesn't show up in the image editor when you edit text. You have to close your browser and open it back up to see the new images. Is there any way to fix this?

If you upload via FTP, you need to go to the File Manager and "synchronize" the files.

Maybe I'm not understanding this properly, but when I go to the file manager, the only folder it will show is the portal root. I can click on other folders and can expand out to see their sub folders, but the files do not change. Also, I tried synchronizing the folders and checked recursive, but I still can't see new photos uploaded via ftp.

Obvious questions: What is the file type of the image (jpg, png, gif, etc)? Is the file type allowed on the site? In order to be visible to the File Manager, the files must be in "/httpdocs/Portals/0/" or in a folder beneath it. The File Manager seems to have a weird sort order. The files are sorted alphabetically, within file type (Ex: all JPGs first, then PNGs, etc). Did you look at the entire list?
