I desire to setup a web site which will be used as a portal for certain types of specialized sprots information. I have a hosting site which supports DNN and I would like to build the site with DNN. I am a hobby programmer and like the ability to customize my site with programmable modules but I am HORRIBLE with graphics and creating appealling visual content. I would like to get my site off the ground qucikly with a basic blog and RSS capabilities. I know that there are many ways to do this without DNN, but I want to start with DNN from the start so I am not trying to layer it in later. The main problem is that I want to get it started quickly and any of hte tutorials I have seen always seem to go into much detail about skins. I have no desire to create a skin, as I think I would get too bogged down in the graphical stuff. Can anyone point me in the direction of just setting up a simple DNN blog site with an already pre-designed skin? Thanks, Chris

You can find some nice free skins on the DotNetNuke.com site. There are also a couple of free skins at Engagesoftware.com, and you'll find others by googling around. You can use the DotNetNuke Blog module to set up a simple blog.
