Hi I have a question about the security (users/ role) assignment.

I created a dnn portal wich I want to allow to create a host for Company A. The host of that role can add new users to his group, he also must be able to assigning them to certain areas.

The host of company A doest have any other permisson then Creating/Editing/Deleting new users for his company, and assigning them to certain areas.

(Example:  I work for SV Developments, I created a host user for the role  "Company A", which is allowed to create new users ONLY for his company ,also allowing him to manage the users to allow them to see only certain areas (like John Doe is allowed to see Page:Home which has 5 submenus, but John Doe is only allowed to see submenu 1 and 5).

Hi craig, I'm woking for a firm, wich has asked me to find/create a module for their user/role permissions. In wich different companies can manage their own firm roles without changing anything of other roles, and they also must be able to adjust the view permissons of their users. The problem with the current users and roles settings is that, when a role is created everyone in that role has the same permissons. They asked me to find a module in wich they want to create a (person X) wich has permissions to create/edit/delete users in an role, but he also must be able to adjust their view range (example: a registered user can see page Home,Finance and Forum but @ Finance the admin has 9 subtabs, the registered user only should be able to see 3 of them after being registered) I hope I explained it a bit more clearly now.
