When I go to the page host -> super user accounts, that page is blank. It comes up, but it's like there is no module there to manage the super users. How can I re add that module, I don't see it in th drop down to add modules. Thanks, |

Off the top of my head, can you verify that the "Edit" mode is On, and NOT the "View" mode in the upper left hand corner of the page? |

I did check the edit thing, that was my first guess. This has just been the strangest thing ever for me. I went through your tutorial, but all I see is about adding modules based on permissions. I don't see anything about adding the super user modules. Did I miss something? |

No. There is no distinction between module types these days. So, they are all treated the same.

You need to go to the Extensions page, and then configure the Users and Roles module so that you can install it.
Then, go to your Super Users page and install the module.
The module will figure out that it is on a Host page and configure itself to show only super users.
Both the User Accounts and the Security Roles modules will be installed. You can delete the Security Roles module as it is on another page. Or, you can keep it if you like them together.
At the conclusion, you should probably go back and change the module so that regular Admins cannot install it.

When I go to install available extensions here are my choices. I don't see a users choice. Is it one of these and I'm just missing it? Go to the Extensions page. The "Users and Roles" module should already be installed. You just need to edit it so that admins can add it to pages.

I don't see the Users and Roles modules there. I'm still thinking somehow this module got uninstalled. Can I provide you with a user and password to the site so you can look to verify? Besides loosing a login module, this is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. |

Yes, you really are missing the Users and Roles module! You don't have the Admin, Users or Admin, Roles modules either. These are all instances of the same module. As you are using DotNetNuke 05.01.02, here is what you need to do: - Get an install version of 05.01.02 and install it as a test site somewhere.
- Login to that site and go to the Host, Extensions page.
- Locate the Users and Roles module and click the pencil icon to edit it.
- Scroll down and find the Create Package link. Click it.
- Get into the test site and get a copy of the zip file you just created.
- Copy that, and install it as an extension.
- You should then be able to add the module to the pages from which it is missing. (Note that you may need to go to the edit extension page and make this one installable.)
Let us know if you need more help. You should also upgrade to 05.05.01 at your earliest convenience. There are several important issues solved in later versions of DotNetNuke. They include some very important security issues. I would do that after getting the missing module installed. You might want to compare the list of extension on your site to the one on the test site to make sure that there aren't other you are missing. |

So I tried to create the package, but when I export the module all I get is a file called DotNetNuke_DotNetNuke.Security.dnn. Where should this zip file be? |
