I am trying to create a property from property profile definition. From the Add Profile Property Definition I typed the Property Name as "Target Currency" and selects the data type as "List" and Property Category as "Name", and required and visible as true, Then I click next and add 2 entries for the list dropdown EUR and GBP. and saves it. I am able to see the deopdown with 2 values EUR and GBP. The above thing works fine for the Main portal. Now I repeat the same procedure for the child portal it only shows a blank dropdown for the Target Currency property. Can any one help where I am getting wrong.

I haven't seen this, but I haven't done anything like this either. I would try trying a slightly different name and see if that might be the problem.

I'm not sure but "List" data types may use the DotNetNuke Lists table. See "Lists" under the Host menu. If that is the case, you won't be able to have two lists with exactly the same name. You'll want to use a slightly different name.

Yes you are right. List data type uses the DNN Lists table. I have also tried it by usign different names for the list but it didnot work.

Further more I didnot find the above issue in previous versions of DNN. IS it a bug in DNN 5.02.02

I don't know if this is a bug or not.  You could:

1) try upgrading to the current version to see if that solves the problem.  Do it on a test site and not your live site.
2) revert your live site back to the version that works.

In either event, you should report your error to the DotNetNuke team.  You may get some advice from them, too.
