I installed DNN to C:\DotNetNuke (per some instructions I found on the DotNetNuke web site). I found that this didn't work with my application and needed to reinstall into c:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke. Things are working except when I logn as host and try to access Extensions I get the following error. Any ideas on how to fix? Since this is a new installation, I'd recommend redoing it. Delete everything in the web directory, and delete the database. Create a fresh, new and empty database, and copy the contents of the install package into the web directory. Make sure that all of the permissions are set correctly. Then, browsing to the site should fire up the Install Wizard. Make sure that you pass all of the tests during the installation.

I just reinstalled, watching carefully for any problems. The reinstall went fine, but I am still getting the error. It looks like to me that because I have installed DotNetNuke into two different directories, there is still a refernece somewhere on my system for a .NET Namespace located associated with the original install location. Does anyone know where this might be and how to clean it up?

Have you looked for more detailed error messages in the event log?
