Hi Everyone, I have inherited DotNetNuke code and I need to get the code running on my local computer under Visual Stuido 2008. When I attempt to compile the project I receive the following error: "Procedure or function 'GetPortals' expects parameter '@CultureCode', which was not supplied" found in PortalController.vb. This error does not happen on the computer where the code was developed. The DotNetNuke version is: 05.02.01 (54). Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions/help! Thank you!!

Are you using a copy of the database AND the web directory from the live site? The error message that you cite implies that there is a mismatch between a stored procedure in the database and the code in the web directory that calls it.

Are you also running on a localhost install? Which version of DotNetNuke? Is this a compilation issue?

The server that hosts the files is running IIS, but the sql database is on another machine. However, we have multiple DNN sites running properly. I'm just going to a back up.

OK. If you are running multiple sites on a single installation, then are you getting the error on a certain page or pages? If so, you may find more details in the EventLog for that portal.

I am having same issue I had a site that i tried to upgrade the site got errors. So i tried to restore back files from a day that it all worked now those files dont work either anymore. Server Error in '/' Application. Procedure or function 'GetPortals' expects parameter '@CultureCode', which was not supplied.
