Query regarding DNN language

Hi, I'm using the DNN version 05.01.04 (3) in my site. I'm having two language English & Spanish. The default langauge is english now. I want to make Spanish the default language. I've selected the language Spanish from Admin->Site Settings->Advanced Settings->Other Settings. But the default language is comming as Englsih. Please help. Thanks

Make sure that your logged in user hasn't specified his own default language. And then make sure that the portal has a default language assigned. If those two don't fix things for you, please ask again.

hi, i am using version 5.0.0 for my website. my clients want this site in spanish. but i fount the spanish language pack for 4 th version only. can any one tell me whether this will work for DNN 5 version also or not. Thank you, Agiline

It will "sort of" work, but might require some additional work. Text that was added or moved around in version 5 will not be handled. But, you can edit those strings .

You will definitely need to localize the text for third party modules, unless they also come with language packs.
