Hello,
I have been experiencing a quite baffling problem with
one of my DNN installs. Both of them are 04.09.03 and both are hosted with the
same provider. About 4 months ago we had the provider switch our development
install to production and vice versa. Ever since then when attempting to setup
a local host mirror of the live server it redirects from the local host address
(localhost/site) to the live version of the website. This never occurred before the server move as
I setup local copies on numerous occasions.
Doing a google search is flooded with this problem but they
are all pointing to a portal alias issue (leaving the live address in the
dbo.PortalAlias table) but in this case the only portal alias is the local host
one. I am able to setup a local host install that does not redirect with the
development site every time.
Is there anywhere else in the DNN files/Database that could
be causing this redirect to occur? Or any other ideas what may be causing this?
