Dear All! Because my website is targeted for european visitors I try to change the default character-set to UTF-8 and language to German. I have already changed the web.config - file to the following entry: Further I have installed a german language-pack and set it to active. Also I have tried to specify different font-families in my skin.css file. Nonetheless, special characters like "ä", "ü", "ö", etc. are still represented with strange hieroglyphs as shown in the attached screenshot. If I open up the firefox-sourceview, the HTML "lang"-Tag is set to "en-US" while the charset is correctly set to "UTF-8". What should I do? Best regards, Daniel Lang

Hello, All I can think of to check is the code in the default.aspx file in the root of your DotNetNuke installation files. Have a look to see if there are any references in there that are causing you problems. Thanks,
