Many thanks. Work got in the way of my emailing you earlier but late last night i decided to do the same exercise and i found the same thing worked to an extent! did nothing defferent - but how often do we say that!
If you have not looked at this it might be an easy tutorial. Perhaps too easy.
The code works for a search box which will throw up a separate google page. It also works for a search box with an overlay which adds the results under the box on your own page (as in http://www.expresslegalservices.ltd...fault.aspx - still in its early stages and clearly in need of better URL's)
what i cannot do is to make use of the other method suggested namely to use an I-Frame to display the results. It is far from obvious where to paste the code that google gives you. This might be the point where DS Dynamic Forms needs to be used. The tutuorial on that subject was excellent altho you have convinced me to at least try out OWS.
