Hi Guys,

Does anyone know it there an available tool / module for DNN that will allow you to create the roles in either DNN or AD and have them auto-generated in the other place? I have seen several modules that purport to do things with AD to "make life easier". But havent seen anything that would do this.

Any information would be appreciated.

Then only usage of AD that I have made is to assign DotNetNuke roles based on AD roles. You have to name the DNN role the same as the AD role, but with a $ at the front.

Hi,  yes i am already using the AD provider with DNN and its working fine. We have to create a role in DNN then a matching one in AD (although you dont need to use a $?). I was looking for something that would automatically create an AD role when a DNN role was created, to streamline the business process.

My feeling is there isnt really anything that does this, thanks for the reply though.
