I have for over a year DNN installed and working Ok with one site, I tried to add a new portal and it worked ok for 1 month o so, now each time I tried to enter the new site I get a redirect error. The new site is www.npimagen.com and each time you enter you get a really long URL, (tried to paste it here but it was to long) u can see it in Firefox. The server its running www.tanfemenina.com a live site that has over 1600 page and I don’t want to mess too much with the server. Is there a way to look for what’s the problem? My DNN version its 04.09.00. Tanks in advance Fernanado.

Has anything changed in the setup of your server? Have you contacted your hosting provider to check?

If you go to www.tanfemenina.com, log in as host, go to host menu / portals

Click the edit pencil icon next to the details for the www.npimagen.com website, what does the portal alias state?

Is IIS configured correctly to forward the domain name www.npimagen.com to your DNN installation?

Hi lee, tanks for the reply and nice u like the site. Ok in Npimagen the alias is www.npimagen.com The server hasn’t change, it’s a dedicated server and I don’t mess with it only for occasionally reboots and windows updates. The IIS it’s configured to redirect all incoming request to the DNN folder, should I add a new site redirecting only the www.npimagen.com to the DNN folder? Fernando,

You could try it, it should not affect the other site.

Another method will be to look at host headers and make sure that host headers include www.npimagen.com in the IIS settings of the other site.
