help:error with container

i recently installed a site in dnn5 in which i have imported the contents from another dnn site with version 4.9.1. Ther problem is when I tried to change the container in one of the pages containing sql grid selected view module I got following exception. An error has occurred. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButtonList.get_ModuleActions() at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButtonList.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.AddedControl(Control control, Int32 index) at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.Add(Control child) at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButton.CreateChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.EnsureChildControls() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- and I cannot see any of the contents of the page. Please help me how to remove this exception or even removing the container to change to default mode would do. Thanks

Is this a custom container? Does it work if you use a standard DotNetNuke container?

yah it is a custom container,but the page has errored out so i cannot do anything with the page any longer .

If you switch to "design" mode, you might be able to get at the module settings and change the container. If not, you'll need to look at the "modules" table in your database and erase that setting manually. Replace the container with NULL.
