I need to deploy my DNN (V5.1) Website.

My developing PC is also my web server station.
Currently it is in a developing stage as I need to click "debug" at the Visual Studio 2005 to run it and test.

How can I deploy this website so that user just enters the web link address to access the website?

For my web service, I will deploy via IIS.

But, if you are developing on the server, you really just need to create and IIS website, and point it at the folder that contains your DotNetNuke installation.  Pay attention to the required permissions for your website's folder.

so that it means that I deployed the whole content in the DNN folder to the IIS and it should be able to work??

Yeah, basically, you zip up your dnn root folder (ie, dotnetnuke_2 or whatever it's named) and all child folders.  Detach the database files.  Set up the permissions correctly on your server websites folder, and then copy the database files and dnn website zip file to your server.  Unzip the website zip to your website folder, attach the database, then change your web.config file to reflect the different server name, etc.

Make sure you have debug = off and a release version of your dlls too.  And don't forget to update your portal alias table!
