Hello, When transfering content from another webpage to my DotNetNuke based web page, I usually just copy and paste it in the FCK editor to save time. But this means that I also copy the fonts of the original text. Is there an easy way of "disabling" the copied fonts (I am not able to do this in the FCK editor in rich text mode) so that I can use the .Normal class defined fonts everywhere, or do I have to do this the hard way by going into the html and removing all the
statements? Thanks for any help. Knut Erik

There is a "Paste from Word" tool on the editor's toolbar. It's the clipboard image with the W. You can click it, paste into it, and check the box to ignore font definitions.
Another approach that I often use to eliminate all formatting is to paste to Notepad and then paste into the editor.

Joe, Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, I have already copied a lot of information directly from another website so I guess I will have to edit the html to remove all formatting. Regards, Knut Erik

You can edit the existing text, copy everything, delete everything, and paste back using the "copy from Word" tool.

I had a site where I had to fix several hundred pages of content that used font tags, span tags etc. And I had to strip out all of the styling text from the text HTML modules.
I worked out it would take me several months to update the content, after some investigation I found a method to do this in several seconds!
I did this through the use of SQL find and replace queries:
