Manage Profile Properties page not working

Hi I cannot get the checkboxes on the manage profile properties page (Admin > User Accounts > Manage Profile Properties) to behave. No matter what I select or deselect in the visible and required columns, whenever I click Apply changes, the page just seems to refresh, and the whole required column is set to unchecked, and the whole visible column is checked. None of these are visible in the front end registration page either - even though they are all set to checked here. Anyone know about this ? How to fix it? I'm running DNN 4.9.4 Thanks

Hello, I've Just double checked this is working 4.9.4 and it worked okay for me, follow these steps: Go to the admin menu / user accounts / manage profile properties Tick 'City' as required click on apply changes Then click cancel to return back to the user accounts page Now click on the user settings Scroll to the bottom, click on 'require a valid profile for registration' Click on update This should now work, you may want to check out these tutorials: User Accounts new features User Accounts and User Settings Enforcing Terms and Conditions on User Registration How to Manage Profile Properties in User accounts (Creating a custom registration page) Security Roles new features

I am working in DNN 6. I have been watching and adapting your video 4 (managing profile properties for version 3 & 4). But I've come unstuck. Where can I change the text for accept t's & c's. The file profile.ascx does not exist in admin/users/app_localResources. Thanks.

It is in that location in my test DotNetNuke 6.1.5 installation. Note that there may be several copies of the file if you have multiple portals. This is because the files can be personalized at the portal level.

I have several installations of DNN on my server all version 6.. They are all separate installations not several portals. The only file in all of them down path /admin/users/app_localResources is ViewProfile.ascx.resx Where else should I be looking?

The file in this section is ViewProfile.ascx I have expanded the Local Resources -> users -> App_LocalResources -> ViewProfile.ascx I wanted to send you a snapshot but cannot upload the file. Incidentally, what file types are allowed to be attached to this forum?
