.asp does not work

Hi, After installing dotnetnuke, my .asp pages stops working (which are lying in one of the folder) of dotnetnuke or .asp stops functioning. Even it don't works from inetpub/wwwroot folder. Although dotnetnuke is working fine. Any idea ? Regards sharad

I think that you are guaranteeing yourself trouble if you have everything in the same directory. My guess is that DotNetNuke's web.config file overrides what your .asp files are trying to do. Or, you may have written over an existing web.config file.

I have copied .asp files in inetpub/wwwroot/ , even it is not working, as it was working before installation of dotnetnuke. Is this problem related to installation of Dotnetnuke ?

Do you have the old asp files set up as a separate website? It could be related to your installation of DotNetNuke if you put the two applications in the same directory and had one website going. If you've now taken them apart (correctly) and have two separate sites, that should work.

Well I may have not explained the things in proper way. I want to explain it again :- 1. Before installation of dotnetnuke I have three pages 1.asp,2.asp,3.asp working fine in localhost (inetpub/wwwroot) using .mdb odbc 2. After installation of dotnetnuke, in c:\dotnetnuke\ virtual folder, the same .asp pages under inetpub/wwwroot stop working. 3. Where inetpub/wwwroot is working as localhost (confirmed by default.html) is working fine. Has any one faced this problem ?

I have not run into this. But, I would try putting the asp pages in a folder parallel to DotNetNuke: inetpub/oldasp inetpub/DotNetNuke
