I've spent the last couple of weeks building my first DNN skin and container set.

Was wondering what I need to do to the containers to make the -maximize -minimize -none controls work within DNN.

I guess there is a control i need to drop into the container .ascx file but not sure which one.

I have actually already watched a lot of the tutorial videos. The problem for me is that my containers have to be a little more complex than the ones made in the tutorial.

I was hoping someone would be able to explain/pinpoint which part of the process effects the visibility of the container.

I had added in the [visibility] tag but I don't want the minimize/maximize controls to show. 

The [VISIBILITY] token implements the container visibility functions.

thanks. I have added that in but it doesn't seem to do anything when i select "none" from module settings>visibility settings>page settings.

Anything else I could be doing wrong?

If you select "none" for visibility, you turn off this functionality.

Compare the structure of your container and .xml file to the stock DotNetNuke container files.

so selecting none doesn't hide the whole container.

That is correct.  "Visibility" is the ability to collapse the container using an icon, typically in the upper right hand corner of the container.  The container collapses to the title bar.

If you don't want to display the container, there is a check box in the module's dropdown settings.  This make the container invisible, it doesn't make the module invisible.
