Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I could not find.

I have my Calendar of Events located here:  http://www.pwcparks.org/CalendarOfE...fault.aspx

I have the link enabled at the bottom of the Calendar to "Subscribe To This Feed".  It works just fine. 

When I click to add the feed to my Microsoft Outlook, it only shows 28 items and they are even the latest items.  How can I get it to show only the day of the feed subscription (If I were visiting the site today and clicked on Subscribe, oit would show me Today and maybe a week out), or if I subscribed tomorrow it would show only tomorrow's dates events and 1 week out?

Does this make any sense?

I see the same thing that you see.

Do you have the Search Indexer scheduled task enabled? It is needed to update the RSS feed. If it is enabled, then you should check the history to see that it really is running, and running successfully.

It is enabled, runs every 6 hours and every item in the history of it shows a Succeeded value of True.

I set up an Events module on my site and added some events.  Several hours later (and my search indexer runs every half-hour), I'm not seeing my new events in the RSS feed.

I'll try to dig deeper.

Roger Selwyn, one of the Events Module's team members writes this: "Prior to version 4.1.0 of the Events module, RSS support has been more by accident than design." This was referenced as part of a thread titled "RSS feed seems to have stopped after 4.0.2 upgrade, anyone else have this issue?"

I just installed the 4.1.0 RC3 version and will check.

OK, that was quick!

I installed RC3 for 4.1.2 of the events module.  Then, I had to go to module settings to re-enable RSS.  Clicking on the RSS button immediately displayed the feed in Google Reader, with the two events I had added.

Check out the RC3 version.  4.1.2 has lots of new features.  There are quite a few ways of configuring the RSS feed as to which items are included, etc.  

It also appears that the entire module is "templatable" and you can change the look of the module with appropriate templates.  Look at the Events Module forum, and you will see a bit of discussion.  Roger Selwyn's blog entry is helpful, too.

I'm looking at my version of the Module and it says 04.00.02.  There is no upgrade notice next to it.  Is there a stable release out there for us or would this be something that I experiment with on my own?  If the latter, I am reluctant to do this on this Production site.

Please let me know.  My version does, at least work, in that when I add a new entry, it does go out.

You do seem to have the latest, Mark.

I wouldn't suggest that you put this on a live site either. But, it might be that "help is on the way" if the new version gets released soon.

As I said, the DotNetNuke forum does seem to indicate a problem with RSS and the most recent version ...
