If this is a newb question forgive me please I have a website that has several aliases such as:mysite.comalias1.mysite.comalias2.mysite.comNow my requirement is that all these would point to the same DNN site. What I need to do using DNN is to have alias1 and alias2 target a specific page under mysite.com. Is this even possible using DNN only? I know I can setup host headers on the site, and have it go to a page coded to redirect, but was trying to keep it all in DNN if possible. Thanks!Scott
Hi,
After looking thru 60+ pages of topics I did find this that was sorta related and probably missed more:
http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/ta...fault.aspxSo I thought I give the reason why I'm asking the question I did.I work at a University and we have been assigned several aliases that point to our web server simular to the examples I gave above. We have no other control then that the associated aliases are pointed to our web server IP. We currenly just use ASP or HTML pages and the point for moving to DNN is I want to be able to move to a more controlled system, and have role based privledges for updating content, etc...So we do not own the top level domain name, but own several sub-domain names that are descriptive of different aspects of our group, which we would like to be able to have redirected to that associated page when that alias is used but be under the same site as a whole. Thanks,Scott
