Hello all.

I am using IText sharp to generate some random pdf files. I am using this example as a tutorial : http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/t.../ch01.html

My question is : how do I retrieve the file once I have created it ? Where is it stored.

My question is a bit out of DNN context, but thanks anyway for any info regarding this.

Hello,

I haven't used that, but why don't you do a search on your computer files for the name of the file you saved?

It seems that I create the file through the codebehind but it doesn't appear as a regular file on the computer. How do I fix this ? Should the code create the file on the computer ?

The key line was this one :

PdfWriter.GetInstance(document, new FileStream(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath(@"dir/myFile.pdf"), FileMode.Create));

This line creates the file in the "dir/" repository. Then you can access it thru any regular link.
