I am planing to use one of these modules but before staring it i want to take your opinion about which one is better among all of them.

could you please tell em who has already used these modules ?

I guess it depends on what your requirements are?

One thing to remember is that 0WS is free and you can pretty much do anything with OWS, but there is a learning curve to it (in fact there is for each of those modules) - but the OWS tutorials on here should help you to get a good start.

I have and use all three.

As Lee said it depends:

If you don't have developing knowledge and you aren't going to have a ton of records in the database (<10,000) Xmod is still the best bet. Due mainly to it's ease of use and the sheer amount of things it can do.  Think strongly about a Fatgeorge add-on subscription to go along with it. His file upload add-on is without a doubt the best in DNN.  Downside is Xmod stores it's data as XML in a handful of tables.

If you don't have developing knowledge but need to use a large amount of records or need to connect to your own database tables RAD would be the choice. Their UI is very nice.

If you have developing knowledge or are a quick learner and have time to go through the OWS tutorials from here then OWS is the way to go. It is the most powerful (if you are a developer and can add in things like image upload controls, jquery auto scroll, etc.)

Some new updates:

RAD is suppose to have the next version out at the end of this month.

XmodPro is very close to releasing a new version that will make it much easier to use. It wasn't that hard to use to begin with.

I am in the process of evaluating XMO Pro for DB 3.0 and DotNetMushroom RAD 1.50 for use on DDN 6.0 Community Edition (hope to upgrade to professional).

Which is the better solution for developing forms and views that require extended jquery validation, webservice calls, hierarchical parent child tables and controls, stored procedures, so on?

I am just trying to get some insight since I am new to DotNetNuke and I have less than a two weeks to develop the client project.

I don't have any useful experience with Xmod.

I have "played with" OWS and RAD. I think that OWS has a steeper learning curve. There is some folklore that OWS may be more powerful, but I expect that the DNM people would not agree.

Two weeks may be a very short time for either. Do you have .NET development experience. It might be just as easy for you to jump in that way.
