That should read "Link to" ...

If you can create a file for the script and attach it to a forum message, that should work.

Most likely, the script needs to be inserted in an HTML module in source mode.

Attached are text files for AccuWeather and The Weather Channel.

I have been inserting the code in an HTML module in HTML, not Design, mode.

Everything between the script tags gets stripped out.

I pasted the scripts into modules using the Basic Text Box and setting the mode to Raw.  You can see the results here.

I removed the height and width attributes in the Accuweather html to make this play nicer with my DotNetNuke container.

The Weather Channed script doesn't seem to be working, and I don't know why.  There is an "authorized domain" built into the script, so I went to the Weather Channel's site and made a version for my test site.  It still doesn't work.

Ah!  I didn't try the Basic Text Box/Raw Mode combination.  AccuWeather now works.

As for the The Weather Channel, phhfft! [laugh]

When you are pasting scripts, it's very important that nothing extra gets added.  The Raw mode of the Basic Text box doesn't do anything!

As for the Weather Channel, I dropped them a note with a link to my page.  We'll see how they respond.


(How are things in Asbury Park?  Down here in Maryland we haven't had nearly the winter weather that you've been having ...)

Actually, I'm in Hawaii. The owner of the site also has HawaiiIslandHoops.com. He lives out here too, although he's a native of Asbury Park. The sites are for basketball camps/clinics for kids between 8 and 18.

Ah ... so the Asbury Park weather is just so you can read it and giggle? 

Well, yeah... that and the fact that my client likes those weather boxes in his websites.
